Wednesday's South & West action review

By David Watters

The only game in the EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West on Wednesday night saw North Leigh win 2-1 at the Denplan City Ground against Winchester City, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

North Leigh were looking to get their top five challenge back on track after losing their last three league games following their Emirates FA Cup hammering by Eastleigh. And they were ahead after 20 minutes through Matt Woodley.

Just six minutes later though, Adam Roberts equalised for a City side looking to follow up their good win in the Buildbase FA Trophy against Phoenix Sports last weekend. It looked to be heading for a point apiece until Woodley grabbed North Leigh`s winner eight minutes from time.
