Tuesday's South & West Division review

By David Watters

Swindon Supermarine moved into the top five of the EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West on Tuesday night after a 4-0 win against Shortwood United at the Webb`s Wood Stadium, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The visitors began the evening in front of `Marine in the table but fell behind in the 10th minute when Josh Parsons tapped in from close range after a fine cross from Joe Selman. Ten minutes later and Conor Waldon provided the cross for Selman to double the home side`s lead.

And with 20 minutes remaining, `Marine made the points safe when another cross from Waldon saw Parsons knock the ball home. Parsons completed his hat-trick five minutes from time when he touched the ball over the line after a glancing header from Zac Westlake looked like it was heading in anyway.
