Wimborne Town led the way after hitting six at Testwood Stadium against second-bottom AFC Totton to move into sixth spot.
It was all-square at the break with Dan Munday cancelling out Stefan Penny`s 33rd minute opener for the Magpies a minute before the interval. But once Curtis Angell had beat his own keeper nine minutes into the second period to give the visitors the lead, there was no way back for the Stags, who conceded a Toby Holmes hat-trick and a last minute Jack Lovell effort for number six.
Swindon Supermarine are now third after a 4-1 win at Bishops Cleeve.
Leading through George Reid`s 39th minute goal, `Marine hit two in five minutes midway through the second half with a second for recent signing Reid and then Connor Thompson. Olly Butler pulled one back for Cleeve in the 82nd minute but Josh Parsons made it 4-1 in the final few seconds.
Hereford FC maintained their four-point lead at the top of the table after a comfortable 3-0 Edgar Street win over mid-table Slimbridge.
Another terrific crowd of 2,305 saw top scorer John Mills bag a brace in the 13th and 19th minutes and Tristan Plummer add a third 17 minutes from time.
Mangotsfield United are now second after edging out Barnstaple Town 3-2.
Ryan Turner gave Barum a 2-0 lead with goals in the sixth and 51st minutes. But the Mangoes fought back to win, courtesy of Ryan Batten after 68 minutes, Lewis Powell 10 minutes later and then Ryan Bath four minutes from time.
Evesham United moved into the top five after a 3-1 home win over Yate Town in which Adam Mann gave the hosts an early seventh minute lead.
Lance Smith doubled the home side`s lead in the 19th minute and Liam Harding added a third 10 minutes before half-time. Yate `won` the second half with a goal four minutes into stoppage time from Luke Bryan.
Salisbury FC are now eighth after edging past Didcot Town by the odd goal in five at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium in front of just under 500.
But the Whites had to come back from being 2-0 down to a Sam Barder brace in the 9th and 35th minutes. Tommy Wright crucially reduced the deficit six minutes before half-time and then a Justin Bennett double in the 70th and 84th minutes sealed Salisbury`s win.
It took just one goal, however, for Winchester City to win at Wantage Town, Craig Feeney finding the net after 63 minutes.
