Tuesday's Central Division action review

By David Watters

Chalfont St Peter missed an opportunity to go third in the EVO-STIK League Southern's Division One Central table on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Saints were held to a 1-1 home draw by AFC Dunstable, who are now sixth. Charlie Strutton`s 53rd minute goal looked to be enough for the hosts, until Adiel Mannion popped up with a stoppage time equaliser for AFC.

The evening`s only other game saw Egham Town beat Aylesbury FC 3-1 at the Runnymede Stadium.

Brendan Matthew bagged a quickfire brace in the 32nd and 37th minutes and Chris Moore put the Sarnies three-up at the break with a 44th minute third. Reece Yorke`s own goal seven minutes into the second half reduced the arrears but the Moles were unable to find a leveller.
