Scoring brothers settling quickly

New Kidlington Town boss Julian McCalmon was delighted to see brotherly love paying big dividends on Saturday in the EVO-STIK League Southern.

McCalmon saw Anaclet and Eddie Odhiambo both find the net only days after signing the brothers in Saturday's 4-1 win in the EVO-STIK League Southern's Central Division at Histon.

Anaclet, his third signing for the Oxfordshire outfit from Marlow since succeeding Martin Wilkinson in mid-September, bagged two second half goals after his brother opened the scoring in Cambridgeshire.

McCalmon snapped up the 31-year-old midfielder, pictured, following his recent release from National League South side Oxford City. A UEFA B coach, his past clubs include Oxford United, Stevenage Borough and Brackley Town as well as loan spells at Tamworth, Chester City and Yeovil Town.

McCalmon, who is also looking forward to seeing his fourth signing combine his playing duties with a coaching role after he followed his brother to Yarnton Rd, said: "When I was told that Eddie was available I acted fast and after a few conversation I am absolutely delighted that he has agreed to join us here at Kidlington."

After guiding the Greens to a 3-1 win over Fleet Town in his first game in charge, McCalmon will be hoping to secure his third win on the spin since his appointment on Tuesday night when Kidlington host Aylesbury.
