Saints seek fresh boardroom blood

St Ives Town are looking to boost their boardroom numbers for the 2017-18 EVO-STIK League Southern season.

The Saints have launched a campaign to recruit two new directors at the ProEdge Stadium this summer as they step up preparations for their upcoming EVO-STIK League Southern Premier Division campaign.

Officials at the Cambridgeshire club say their ideal candidates will have exceptional organisation and management skills plus a proven track record in business and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels.

Although knowledge of the game is advantageous but not essential, the successful candidates will be positive team players and clear thinkers with a proven ability to inspire others in leadership roles.

Founded in 1887, St Ives Town won promotion to the EVO-STIK League Southern in 2013 from the United Counties League. In season 2015–16, the Saints earned promotion to the EVO-STIK League Southern's top flight via the play-offs and last term finished 15th under the guidance of manager Ricky Marheineke. As well as running a flourishing academy, St Ives Town also field a number of youth teams and a ladies side at Westwood Road, pictured.

Potential candidates should submit their CVs with a covering letter to St Ives Town chairman Gary Clarke via email at: Brookland15@aol.com.
