Lucky to even be in contention

Evesham United boss Paul Collicutt will be lucky to call on the services of Adam Mann in the EVO-STIK League Southern on Saturday after the forward fell through a roof at work this week.

The 25-year-old former Gloucester City striker, pictured, is still a major doubt for the club's clash with Paulton Rovers in EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South and West after escaping serious injury but suffering a dead leg in an accident while working as a roofer in Slough.

Collicutt is confident his side can cope with or without Mann at the Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium and at least two other absentees with winger Carl Brown and forward Sam Pearson definitely out with injuries.

The Robins boss told worcesternews.co.uk on Friday: "We will have to see how Adam is but we have got players waiting in the wings and a competitive squad."

Mann signed for the club in January 2015 after scoring seven goals in 12 appearances during a two month loan spell from the National League North Tigers.
