Keeper Switches to Kings Langley

By David Simpson

Experience counts..

Goalkeeper Martin Bennett has been transferred from Hitchin Town to Evo-Stik League South Premier rivals Kings Langley.

Bennett was the longest-serving member of the Hitchin squad.

The 30-year-old originally signed for Hitchin back in 2007 from Bedford FC.

However, an agreement has been made between the two clubs that he can re-join the Canaries if they need him in the event of injury to first-choice keeper Michael Johnson.
