Holleran adds another new face

Leamington manager Paul Holleran has added another new face to his squad ahead of the upcoming EVO-STIK League Southern season with the signing of midfielder Ryan Quinn.

Quinn, who put in an impressive performance in their pre-season defeat to Worcester City last Saturday, could feature in the club's top flight opener to the 2016-17 campaign against Cirencester Town this weekend.

The 20-year-old, pictured, is a product of the Coventry City academy and joined then National League Nuneaton Town in 2014 after being released by the Sky Blues.

After starting last season with EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Chasetown, Quinn finished the season with Coventry Sphinx, returning to the Midland League club to establish himself in the side.

Along the way, the central midfielder scored two long range goals in a thrilling FA Vase win at Black Country Rangers in which Sphinx were three goals down with five minutes to go. In total, he made 28 appearances for the Step 5 outfit last season and scored five goals.

A Brakes spokesman said: "We welcome Ryan to the club and hope he enjoys a successful time with us."
