Keeper and Defender join Squad

Evo-Stik League South East promotion-chasers Hayes & Yeading United have added goalkeeper Renell McKenzie-Lyall and defender Adam Cash to their squad.

Seventeen-year-old McKenzie-Lyall, younger brother of Kai who recently had a loan spell at United, arrived at Hayes & Yeading to cover for the injured Jack Smith and joins on `work experience` from SkyBet League Two side Barnet.

McKenzie-Lyall is a product of the Barnet youth academy and has already served time on the first-team bench but is yet to make his debut.

A good technician despite being just 17 and Barnet see him as having a promising future in the game.

He made his United debut in the 9-1 demolition of Arlesey Town on Saturday.

Cash is a 22-year-old right-sided wing-back who joins Hayes & Yeading on dual registration with Bostik Premier side Leatherhead.

Cash is no stranger to Hayes & Yeading, having played for the club`s under-18 side in 2012/13 before moving on to Harrow Borough.

This was followed by spells with Wealdstone and Windsor FC before he signed on at Margate under former Hayes manager Terry Brown.

From the Gate he moved to Leatherhead on loan before moving to Fetcham Grove permanently.
