Having won nine of their last 10 league outings, the fourth-placed Whites romped to a 3-0 victory in the milestone fixture at the Ray Mac to strengthen their bid to secure one of the play-off spots in EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South and West.
The latest win for Steve Claridge's side came days after the club told supporters that the former Luton, Arsenal, Celtic, Coventry, Luton West Ham, Wimbledon, West Bromwich Albion and Wales striker would be heading to Wiltshire on Friday 3 March as guest of honour at the fundraiser for the fans, players, officials and sponsors.
Now 41 and a popular pundit on TV and radio with the BBC and BT Sport, Hartson won't be short of tales to entertain supporters after a career that saw him score 203 goals in 400 senior club appearances and 14 more in 51 internationals for his country.
After retiring, he went on to make a courageous recovery from testicular cancer which spread to his lungs and brain before setting up the John Hartson Foundation, a testicular cancer awareness charity.
A Whites spokesman said: "It is a night - featuring a three-course meal in the Sarum Suite as well as some fabulous footballing chat - not to be missed."
Tickets are priced at £40 for the event which includes a three-course meal and an auction of sporting memorabilia and raffle on the night.
