Happy days at Holloways Park!

Beaconsfield SYCOB definitely enjoyed collecting their reward for winning the EVO-STIK League Southern's final performance honours of 2016.

Named as one of December's EVO-STIK League Southern Team of the Month Award winners alongside Chesham United in the top flight and Taunton Town in Division One South & West, the Rams were honoured on Saturday at Holloways Park before keeping their hopes of making the EVO-STIK League Southern's Division One Central play-offs alive with a 2-1 win over Barton Rovers.

Like all performance kings, joint managers Andy Hurley and Leigh Wooldridge, along with Rams secretary Robin Woolman, are pictured before kick-off being presented with a glass trophy to record their achievement and a 4.5L bottle of Bell's Whisky to celebrate their success with by EVO-STIK League Southern chairman Terry Barratt.

The Rams, who went on to beat their promotion rivals in their latest outing with a Callum Bunting injury time strike, were honoured with their first performance accolade of the 2016-17 campaign for their run of six straight wins in the final four weeks of 2016 while scoring 25 goals and conceding just three times along the way.

The monthly performance accolades are being sponsored once again this season by EVO-STIK and the title sponsor's parent company Bostik to recognise and reward the top performers among the 68 clubs playing in the EVO-STIK League Southern's three divisions.
