Last season was very successful for the club and great things are hoped for in the new season.
The Robins finished in eighth place, with seventy-four points – the highest position and points ever scored.
Striker Jake Jackson was fourth highest scorer in the league with 21 goals, only 6 less than the top scorer, and he has given the club a boost by turning down a lucrative offer to join Vanarama National League South new boys Chippenham Town.
Attendances increased 20% on the previous season and over 5,000 people came to the Special Effects Stadium throughout the season watching some very entertaining football.
In addition to retaining the majority of last season’s squad, Frome Town have also welcomed three new players to the club for the forthcoming season.
Midfielder Chas Hemmings, has signed from Bath City, defender Ben Withey, from Evo-Stik League South, West side Mangotsfield United and midfielder Joe Raynes from Larkhall United.
Hemmings was one of the stand-out departures from the National League South outfit earlier this summer, having racked up more than a century of starts in 130 appearances in Bath colours.
He was previously with Clevedon Town and Weston-super-Mare.
Withey was also with Weston and earlier Bristol City before joining Mangotsfield last season, making thirty-six appearances.
Attacking midfielder Raynes started out at Bath and was also with Odd Down in the Toolstation Western League before spending the last few seasons with Larkhall.
