Double departure dents plans

EVO-STIK League Southern newboys Kidlington have suffered a double setback ahead of their Step 4 debut for the 2016-17 season.

Ace marksman Anaclet Odhiambo and midfielder Lewis Gabbidon both jumped ship this week join EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central rivals Marlow where they will team up again with former Kidlington coach Julian McCalmon.

Top scorer Odhiambo claimed 37 goals across all competitions as Kidlington marched to the Hellenic League Premier Division championship last season.

Gabbidon won both the players’ player and manager’s player trophies at the end-of-season awards at Yarnton Road before opting to more on this summer.
