Fans will get a chance to quiz Pugsley and manager Jason Matthews at the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday (Jan 14) after the club hosts Stratford Town following the weekend resignation of vice-chairman Tony Greaves.
In an interview with the Dorset Echo paying tribute to Greaves and announcing the appointment Neill Child as a director, the Terras chairman told supporters they'll be able to "ask what they like" about the club's performances, targets and ongoing plans for a new ground.
Greaves stepped down on Friday night after joining the board in May 2012 and was hailed by Pugsley before their 4-0 win at St Neots Town in the EVO-STIK League Southern's top flight on Saturday.
He told Echosport: “Tony had been on the board for a number of years. In more recent times he has been spending more time in France and he is now going to spend even more of his time there.
“In recent times he has been working as an assistant on the ground (the club’s proposed move) with Alan (Pepperell, director) and Gareth (Jones, solicitor) to move that forward and he has done a great job.
“On behalf of myself and the rest of the board at Weymouth Football Club, we would like to thank him for what he has done and wish him all the best for the future.”
Looking ahead to the forum, he added: "The fans can ask whatever they want. Jason is going to be there, I’m going to be there, and every question they ask will be answered in complete honesty. They can voice their opinions and their frustrations, which we have all got.”
