Aussie Winger Leaves Diddy

By David Simpson

Looking for new club

Australian winger Josh Pin is to leave Evo-Stik League South West club Didcot Town with immediate effect following talks with manager Andy Ballard.

Pin has struggled to nail down a first-team place and it has been mutually agreed to allow the popular Aussie to move on in his quest for regular first-team football.

Ballard told the club`s official Pitchero website: “It’s a real shame to lose Josh. We spoke in the week and I couldn’t guarantee him the game time that he wanted, so we’ve agreed that he can go and find another club.

“Josh came over to the UK to try and forge a career for himself but unfortunately he’s been a victim of our success this season and hasn’t been able to hold down a regular starting position.

“I’d like to say that Josh has been a model pro since signing for us and I’d like to wish him all the best for the future”.
