Haule, who made more than 120 appearances for the Moles in three spells during a career spanning 20 years, was unveiled on Friday as the successor to former joint managers Danny Gordon and Gareth Risbridger following their double departure two days earlier.
The former Aylesbury, Chalfont St Peter, Hanwell, Harrow Borough, Hemel Hempstead Town, Hendon, St Albans City, Staines Town, Ware, Wealdstone, Woking and Yeading attacker, pictured, is not short on experience having also seen service at Peterborough United, Birmingham City, Wimbledon and around the world with Jacksonville Cyclones in the US, Vidir IK in Finland and a number of clubs in New Zealand.
In a statement announcing his appointment, officials at The SRD Stadium said Haule would be assisted by another Non-League veteran, Errol Dyer who played for a number of South London clubs before moving into management with Southall, Wembley, Harrow, Egham and Northwood after being forced to retire with a knee injury.
The EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central club's current coaching staff of Paul Bonham, Ryan Wiffin and Aaron Norman have all agreed to stay on with Haule, 40, taking charge for the first time on Saturday at Chalfont St Peter with the Moles third from bottom and determined to beat the drop.
A club statement read: "The club is pleased to announce that Davis Haule has agreed to become the new manager of the Moles. As a player Davis is an extremely hard working, creative and industrious midfielder who tears through midfields and is Mr Consistent. A great leader on and off the pitch, he will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge at this level.
"Davis will be assisted by another veteran on the Non-League circuit, Errol Dyer, and the management team is completed by Paul Bonham, Ryan Wiffin and Aaron Norman who have all agreed to be part of the new team. We wish the new team well for the rest of the season."
Gordon and Risbridger, who left after their side's 3-2 defeat at home to Barton Rovers on Tuesday night in the Southern League Cup, took over last summer from Steve Bateman after he departed at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
