Tuesday's South & West action review

By David Watters

Yate Town earned a well earned point at midtable Shortwood United in the EVO-STIK League Southern's South & West on Tuesday night to climb further away from trouble, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The fifth from bottom visitors are 11 points clear of the drop zone but it could have been 13 after the hosts came from 2-0 down to claim a point, a brace from William Morford in the 68th and 69th minutes cancelling out Jake Ball's 25th minute opener and a Treyvond Anderson goal nine minutes after the break.
