Tuesday's Premier Division action review

By David Watters

A third successive win on Tuesday has given Cambridge City a great chance of avoiding relegation from the EVO-STIK League Southern's Premier Division, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

City made the journey to the Forest of Dean for the second time this season after their original game against already-relegated Cinderford Town had been abandoned in December.

And they did what they had to do to move to within goal difference of fifth-bottom Kings Langley with three games remaining.

What proved to be the only goal of the game came after just four minutes at Causeway when, following a corner, former Southend youngster Norman Wabo nipped in at the far post to score what could prove to be a crucial goal in the battle to beat the drop.
