Town looking to make it 10 games unbeaten

By Jack Moore

TAUNTON Town head to sixth-placed Didcot Town looking to make it 10 games unbeaten.

It kicks off a busy November schedule of eight matches for the Peacocks.

Set-piece maestro Ben Adelsbury is suspended this weekend after picking up five yellow cards, but defender Chris McGrath and striker Omar Simpson return to the squad.

Leigh Robinson is in no doubt that his side’s unbeaten record will come under some scrutiny.

“We always have tough games there,” he said.

“We have to be wary, as we were against AFC Totton, of a team that has made a good start to the season, and we have to perform well.

“We’re in a good place, as we’re winning games, we’ve freshened up the squad with a couple of additions, and we take great confidence from the Merthyr result.

“But if you get ahead of yourself in this league, you’ll come unstuck, so you always have to respect the opposition.”
