Tough Times

We have certainly hit some difficult times over the past few weeks, and in truth I haven’t been able to put my finger on it as to why.

It’s not been just the fact that we have lost games, it’s been the manner in how we have lost games.

For people who know me will know I won’t just go and sign 5 or 6 players, I BELIEVE that isn’t the long term answer.

So what do we do?

Trying to fix a problem that you are not sure what has caused it, or why it’s happening is very difficult and in truth what the problem is.

So the answer has to be “hard work” “back to basics” simple but in truth effective.

Going to St Neots last night is exactly what we did and got a deserved point, but let me make this clear;

There are no pats on the back, this is a very small step in the right direction. This has to be followed up with a performance on saturday, we have to realise that in pretty much 80-90% of games in the Southern Premier we are underdogs.

Biggleswade Town is a small club in this league and we have NO DIVINE right to get above our station and start thinking “we should win this game or that game”.

We have to find our true identity
