The Row sign a Sergeant

Hartley Wintney have signed right back Sgt Matt Evans.

Evans had represented the UK Armed Forces team 10 times but has also played for Rushden and Diamonds, Spalding and Winchester City.

Sgt (SI) Matt Evans serves with the Royal Army Physical Training Corps. His 30 caps for the Army team saw them as three times inter services Champions, and Matt awarded Player of the Season in 2016/17.

Speaking to the Clubs official website, Hartley Wintney co-manager, Dan Turkington, said of the signing, "He is a formidable opponent for anyone to come up against” and that he and his team “chased his signature from the off”.
