The BigFreeBet.com Challenge Cup Ineligible Player

Royston Town FC found guilty of fielding ineligible player.

In the BigFreeBet.com Challenge Cup Second Round tie on Tuesday 7th November, it was proven that Royston Town FC fielding an ineligible substitute player in the 6-1 victory over Kempston Rovers. In accordance with the Challenge Cup Rules, the club has been fined and expelled from the Competition and as a result Kempston Rovers have been reinstated into the Competition and will progress to the Third Round.

The draw for the Third Round will be made at 7.00pm on Thursday 30th November and can be viewed on the League's Twitter account @SouthernLeague1.
