The finance director at the EVO-STIK League Southern South & West club has been celebrating after taking home the top honour at Dorset County Football Association 2017 Volunteer Awards at Bulbury Woods Golf Club.
Dorset County FA chairman Geoff Pike is pictured presenting Fergus with an engraved glass trophy as the winner of the "Outstanding Contribution to Dorset Football" accolade for his many years of service at The W+S Stadium.
Apart from helping to run Wimborne Town In The Community and submerging himself in the day to day running of the club as finance director, the volunteer has penned their match reports, provided the matchday commentary and even compiled and edited their match programmes despite living over 6,000 miles away at one point in South Africa!
* With Matty Holmes' side on course for their highest ever finish in the EVO-STIK League Southern, the Magpies are looking forward to marking the 25th anniversary of winning the FA Vase in 1992 at the end of the season with a party and reunion of their former players on Saturday 29 April from 7pm.
