STRATFORD Town manager Carl Adams admits his side are stuck in a rut after suffering five straight defeats in the Evo-Stik League South Premier.
Town’s poor end-of-season form showed no signs of ending on Saturday as they went down to a 3-1 defeat at Biggleswade on Saturday.
The result leaves Town’s hopes of improving on last season’s 14th-place finish in tatters and Adams said: “We are in a bit of a rut at the moment. It’s a bad place to be in, but we’ve still got three games to go in which to turn it around.
“At 1-1 l felt that we would come away with a draw at worst, but it wasn’t to be, so we’ll go again at St Ives, which will be our third away games in six days.”
