Slough are top on goal difference and secured a comfortable 3-0 home win over Biggleswade Town.
A crowd of 575 at Arbour Park saw Warren Harris give the Rebels an early eighth minute lead. Lee Barney doubled their lead in the 33rd minute and then a last-gasp Gavin James third just added the icing on the cake for Slough.
Dunstable earned a good 3-1 win at Latimer Park against one of the title favourites, Kettering Town.
A crowd of 562 saw the Poppies get off to a great start when Wilson Carvalho finished off a good move to score in the fifth minute. But that was as good as it got for the home side as the match turned in the 18th minute when striker Rene Howe was sent-off for an elbow incident involving Jack Hutchinson.
However, it took the the visitors did until the 66th minute to level when Jhai Dhillon’s cross was met by the head of sub Kelvin Bossman. Two minutes later, recent signing Paul Malone brought down Alex Cathline in the box and Hutchinson scored from the resulting penalty.
And in the last minute of normal time, Dunstable were awarded a second penalty when Malone again fouled Cathline, but this time Paul White produced a fine save to keep out Hutchinson’s spot-kick.
They were then handed a third chance from the spot four minutes into stoppage time when Hutchinson was hauled down by White and this time Cathline converted to make it 3-1.
Leamington remain in third spot after going nap at St Ives Town.
Ahmed Obeng grabbed a brace in the 11th and 16th minutes to set the Brakes up for victory. Ryan Rowe added a third from the spot five minutes before half-time and then a Courtney Baker-Richardson double after 79 and 90 minutes made it a 5-0 win.
Early season leaders Chippenham Town slipped down to fourth spot after losing 4-0 at The Walks to mid-table King`s Lynn Town.
New signing Kurtis Revan gave the Linnets a 28th minute lead that Sam Gaughran added to on 58 minutes and then, just three minutes later, Jacek Zielonka made it game over with number three. Dylan Edge added a fourth for good measure six minutes later.
A three-goal blitz in a six minute spell midway through the first half gave Banbury United three points against first-time Hertfordshire visitors Kings Langley.
It began with George Jeacock`s 24th minute opener and was added to by recent signing Conor McDonagh and then Ricky Johnson.
Frome Town dropped out of the top five after losing 2-1 at the Valley Stadium against Redditch United.
Redditch either win or lose at the moment, and they were ahead just before half-time through Danico Johnson. But Jake Jackson equalised in the 73rd minute, only for Frome to concede within three minutes to a Duane Courtney effort.
Promoted Cinderford Town are bottom after going down to a 2-1 home defeat on Hayes & Yeading United`s first visit to the Foresters.
But they had to come back from being a 63rd minute Gethyn Hill goal down to win, thanks to Yannis Ambroisine six minutes later and then Sam Humphreys 11 minutes from time.
None of the bottom four in the EVO-STIK League Southern's top flight picked up a point on Saturday.
Second-bottom Cirencester Town were beaten 3-0 at The Meadow by Chesham United, for whom Barry Hayles turned back the clock with a brace in the 33rd and 59th minutes after a 12th minute Aidan Bennett own goal had set the Generals off and running.
Cambridge City lost 2-1 at the Camrose to youthful Basingstoke Town, for whom Ramone Rose after 48 minutes and Marcus Johnson-Schuster on 65 minutes, outgunned Alex Serrano-Sanchez`s 69th minute reply for City.
And City`s neighbours St Neots Town lost 1-0 at the Avenue Stadium to Nathan Walker`s 48th minute goal for Dorchester Town. However, Dorchester`s neighbours Weymouth went nap at Stratford Town.
Braces for Chris Shephard after 17 and 20 minutes and substitute Sam Jordan on 80 and 86 minutes came either side of Dan Smith’s 59th minute strike to earn the Terras a comfortable win at the DCS Stadium.
The day`s other game saw Hitchin Town and Merthyr Town share a 1-1 draw at Top Field.
A crowd of 514 saw Curtis McDonald put the Martyrs in front after just seven minutes. But Robbie Burns equalised eight minutes later and that`s how the scoreline remained.
