Saturday's Evo-Stik South, West Round-Up

Taunton Town and Swindon Supermarine both maintained their unbeaten starts to the Evo-Stik League South West campaign, but newly-promoted Bristol Manor Farm had their colours lowered for the first time as a Step 4 club on Saturday.

Taunton won 3-1 at Bishops Cleeve, for whom this was a sixth defeat in six league games.

Recent recruit Omar Simpson gave the Peacocks a 39th minute lead that he doubled 3 minutes after the break.

A Jacob Sloggett own goal made it game over and 3-0 just 6 minutes later, rendering Joe Bates` goal in the 87th minute as just a consolation for the Gloucestershire hosts.

In front of 416, it took a 72nd minute penalty from Josh Parsons to separate Swindon Supermarine and Didcot Town at the WebbsWood Stadium.

Manor Farm lost for the first time since coming up as Toolstation Western League champions after going down 2-1 at Slimbridge.

And they led through Aron Robbins` 31st minute opener before Kieran Squires levelled 5 minutes before the break and then Luke Payne won it for the hosts 20 minutes from time.

Yate Town are also yet to find a win in 2017/18 and were beaten at home by Salisbury FC, for whom Chris Shephard`s goal 2 minutes before the break in the end proved decisive for Steve Claridge`s side.

Evesham United were 2-0 home winners over Barnstaple Town, courtesy of goals from Matt Liddiard in the 73rd and 77th minutes.

Cirencester Town enjoyed a 3-0 success at Paulton Rovers, getting the boost of an early 2nd minute Ben Whitehead opener before going on to score two more in the 69th and 88th minutes through Henry Spalding and Sam Walsh respectively.

Pat Cox gave Winchester City an early 3rd minute lead at home to Mangotsfield United, who conceded two more in the final 3 minutes of the match from Rob Carr and Ollie Bailey.

Joe White bagged a brace to help Shortwood United to a second win of the season at North Leigh.

And they had to come back from being an early 7th minute George Seacole goal down to win in the 45th and 77th minutes.

A goal in the first minute of time added on at the end of the game by the beautifully-named Martins Lopes De Pina Nimes Miguel gave AFC Totton victory at Larkhall Athletic.

Anaclet Odhiambo bagged both goals for Kidlington in the 12th and 28th minutes to seal victory at Cinderford Town, while Wimborne Town came from an 18th minute Craig Duff goal down to win 2-1 at Bideford, thanks to Poole Town loanee Luke Burbidge after 37 minutes and Jamie Stokoe on 66 minutes.
