Golf Day Success

Former manager Gary Roberts rallies the troops...

Cambridge City held its annual golf day at the Meridian Club on Friday.

The event was organised by former manager Gary Roberts and raised just over £2,000 for the Football Club and £850 for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The event saw 88 golfers take part including former players, supporters and directors.

City Chairman Kevin Satchell said "The event is always popular and this year we have teamed up with MacMillan Cancer Support who I know will be grateful for the money raised for what is a very worthwhile cause. I would also like to thank Gary Roberts for organising the event as well as all those who sponsored a hole".
