However, Spencer Day`s men fluffed their lines by losing 2-1 at the New Eyrie to mid-table Bedford Town.

That allowed Kempston Rovers and Marlow to move level on points with Farnborough. The Walnut Boys are third after a solid 3-0 win at out-of-sorts Aylesbury FC with goals from top scorer Danny Watson five minutes before the break and then Ashley Fuller from the penalty spot on 65 minutes and Ben Shepherd nine minutes from time.
Marlow were even more comprehensive away winners, 4-0 at Arlesey Town.
Jordan Brown was the star of the show for the visitors, netting a hat-trick with goals in the ninth, 69th and 77th minutes, Jay Welch adding the fourth six minutes from time.
Barton Rovers moved into the top five after they won 1-0 at Calthorpe Park against Fleet Town and AFC Dunstable suffered a 2-1 Creasey Park defeat to Uxbridge.
Connor Calcutt scored the only goal of the game to give Rovers their win, while Matty Woods gave the Reds the lead on the hour-mark and Wayne Carter added a second 14 minutes later, with Jermaine Hall`s goal 10 minutes later all that AFC could respond with.
Two of the teams chasing the top five, Potters Bar Town and Aylesbury United, shared a goalless draw at The Scholars, while another, Ashford Town (Middx), were beaten 2-0 at home by Northwood, for whom Louis Stead and Louis Bircham scored in either half.
Egham Town condemned bottom-markers Histon to defeat number fourteen at the Runnymede Stadium, courtesy of goals from Bajram Pashaj after 33 minutes and Brendan Matthew seven minutes later.
Second-bottom Petersfield Town lost by the same scoreline at Love Lane against Chalfont St Peter, for whom Jack Mullan and Craige Tomkins scored within three minutes of each other midway through the first half.
Third-bottom Beaconsfield SYCOB moved eight points clear of Petersfield after winning 3-0 at Holloways Park against Hanwell Town, all the goals coming in the final 11 minutes from Aaron Berry, Guri Demuria and Ryan Hill.
