Reds looking for third consecutive win

To remain focused

Redditch United travel to Dorchester Town this weekend in very good spirits after recording back-to-backs wins in the league and cup.

The Reds put in a tremendous performance last weekend, thrashing Farnborough 7-1 at The TRICO. Striker Stuart Fleetwood scored four of the goals in a dazzling display, with Adam Page, Marcel Simpson and full-back Lewis Wright also getting on the scoresheet. This was a first victory as Redditch boss for Tim Harris, who then saw his side run out comfortable 4-1 winners away to Cinderford Town in The Challenge Cup on Tuesday night.

Dorchester Town currently find themselves in 20th in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier, but The Magpies have been in decent form as of late, winning three out of their last six, including a 6-0 thrashing of St Ives Town and a 4-0 victory against Farnborough. However, Steve Thompson's side were defeated by league leaders King's Lynn Town last weekend.

Despite the two successive victories, Redditch United First Team Manager, Tim Harris, feels his side need to remain focused going into this game.

Harris said: "We have to realise that we can't get carried away, Dorchester has an experienced manager and they have scored 13 goals in their last three home games without conceding.

"We know it is not going to be easy and we can't afford to be complacent, otherwise we will get punished."

Harris has no new injury concerns: Adam Page, who missed out on Tuesday, will return to the side, whilst Nathan Fox and Lewis Wright are also expected to feature.
