Busy, Busy Boro Bring In SEVEN

Spencer Day, manager of Evo-Stik League South Premier club Farnborough, has been extremely busy this week.

Day has brought in no less than seven new players.

Rob Bartley is a centre-half with bags of experience at Step 3 level with the likes of Metropolitan Police, Enfield Town, Chesham United and Kingstonian.

He has also worn the colours of Canvey Island, Crawley Town and Aylesbury United.

Defender Nathaniel Oseni joins from Vanarama National League South strugglers Whitehawk.

He signed for The Hawks in December 2017 but was sent-off on his debut against East Thurrock United.

He was at Fulham as a schoolboy before playing for Manchester City`s under-18s as a 15-year old.

He had a trial at West Bromwich Albion in February 2016 and games for Leicester City, Sheffield United and Brighton & Hove Albion under-21s before being released by City.

Before joining Whitehawk he was playing in Sweden for Prespa Birlik.

Oseni is qualified to play for Nigeria and has represented them at youth level, although he has also played for England under-17s.

Attacking midfielder Matt Campbell-Mhlope joins Boro from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

He was previously on the books at Millwall.

Goalkeeper Patrick O’Flaherty joins on loan from Premier League side AFC Bournemouth and will share the gloves with Aiden Upward as part of his development.

O’Flaherty has been with the Cherries for four years.

The stopper has enjoyed a number of other loan spells while with the club including stints with AFC Totton, Wimborne Town and Bashley.

Attacking winger Ambrose Gnahore joins from Bostik League Premier side Kingstonian.

Gnahore came through the ranks at Chelsea and has been playing professionally in Sweden, Spain and Portugal with the likes of Assyriska, AD Almudevar and Gouveia since leaving Stamford Bridge.

He joined K`s in November.

CJ Williams-Agunabor is a defender with a pro-academy education recently with Bostik South side East Grinstead Town.

And finally, former Boro defender Lewis Ferrell, 26, has returned to the club from league rivals St Ives Town.
