Quigley's return a no-brainer

Midfielder Dan Quigley is back at EVO-STIK League Southern King's Lynn Town

The former supporters' player and player of the season, pictured, returned to The Walks over the weekend after leaving in April 2015 and spending last term at AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

Linnets manager Gary Setchell has told the club's fans that bringing the 26-year-old back was a "no-brainer" after the midfielder's six goals in 37 appearances helped Rushden reach May's EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central promotion play-off final.

Setchell said: "It was a no brainer for me to bring Quigs back and the supporters know what the lad is all about. He’s come back and given another chance to prove himself to the fans and myself.

"Dan has missed playing for the club and being around the lads so having him back will certainly lift the dressing room and I’m hoping he can hit the ground running and put in some good performances for the football club."
