Their goal machine and former skipper penned a two year deal with Gosport Borough this summer and is pictured prior to signing collecting the Division One South & West's golden boot accolade from EVO-STIK League Southern president Keith Allen for his 44 goals last term.
The 25-year-old marksman was also at Stamford Bridge in May to pick up a National Game Award from The Non-League Paper for his staggering 57 goals in all competitions over the 2015-16 season. Winchester chairman Paul Murray has told fans that everyone at the club is confident they'll be watching Bentley's progress with pride when the new season kicks off next weekend.
"We are pleased to have played a part in his progression from the Wessex League to the Conference South, a rise of three leagues," said Murray on his departure.
"He has been an excellent captain and player and has been such a prolific scorer of goals that he has come to the notice of many clubs, Non-League and League alike. We will all watch his progress with interest."
