Fan's favorite takes over

Following the departure of manager Wayne Thorne and his assistant David Seal earlier this week, Evo-Stik League South West club Mangotsfield United have turned to fans` favourite Ollie Price to take over the vacant managerial position until the end of the season.

Price returned to Cossham Street in the summer from Frome Town, after he played for three seasons for the Mangos in 2004/05 to 2006/07, making ninety-nine appearances and scoring 5 goals.

He originally signed in May 2004 from Clevedon Town where he made 139 appearances, having signed for them from Exeter City in July 2001.

He was at St James`s Park as a a trainee before being surprisingly released.

He formed a strong partnership with Gary Warren at Cossham Street, and has also played for Paulton Rovers, Yate Town and Larkhall Athletic.
