Open invite to networking event

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK League Southern's clubs are being invited to the second Football Trade Directory networking day of 2017.

Taking place at Watford’s Vicarage Road on Thursday 4 May, the free event is set to feature more than 100 delegates and exhibitors from all over the country covering all aspects of the football industry from stadium development to catering, websites, travel and team and corporate wear.

Now a regular diary entry for club officials and football administrators to meet with each other and suppliers, like one held last month in Sheffield, the Teamrooms sponsored get-together at the home of the Hornets will also cater for the growing interest and ever increasing numbers of 3G and 4G pitches in use in the game.

The FTD was launched in 2004 and is now one of the busiest football resource websites in the UK having hosted past football industry networking days across the country at venues including Manchester City, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town, Stoke City, Bolton and rugby's Saracens.

FTD’s managing director John Booth is looking forward to seeing as many representatives as possible from the EVO-STIK League Southern's 68 clubs at their latest event which is running from 11am until 3pm and also includes free refreshments.

Booth said: “By consensus the last event we held at Sheffield United was the best yet, and we fully expect the Watford day to be on a par if not better. Talking to delegates and clubs alike the networking opportunities alone make the time spent worthwhile. This will be the third event we have held at Vicarage Road and it is testimony to the venue that we return again.”

Clubs should email office@footballtradedirectory.com to register as a delegate.
