Lynn will be attempting to consolidate second spot in the league and will also be looking to build on Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Leaders Hereford where goals from Ryan Fryatt and Toby Hilliard ensured the Linnets were the first team to inflict a double over the Bulls.
Speaking to www.kltown.co.uk ahead of Tuesday’s clash manager Ian Culverhouse admitted he is expecting another stern test for his team.
“Firstly, as good as Saturday was, and it was very good, that game has now gone and we now prepare for the next challenge’ said Culverhouse. “Slough are another good team. The league table doesn’t lie and they are enjoying a good season like ourselves.
“They have games in hand still and will still believe that they are going to cement a place for themselves in the play offs, I remember we went there towards the end of last season with a very young squad that day and they gave us a lesson in the first half and had the game won after 45 minutes.
“They have some very good players in their squad and it will be up to the lads to contain them and to continue on from where we left off on Saturday, Within our group we have a very strong togetherness and spirit which you must have if you want to be challenging at the end of April.
“We have set ourselves some high standards this season and we need to show that in every game between now and the season’s end.
“The group are hungry to do well and to achieve but we are all very well aware that the need to remain focused and concentrated is key over the next few weeks’.
