New stand to crown Kings success

EVO-STIK League Southern Kings Langley are planning to build a new stand for fans to build on their success and rapid rise in recent seasons.

After winning the Spartan South Midlands League in 2015 and then promotion to the top flight at the first attempt last term, officials at last season's EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central champions, pictured, are hoping to install a 200 seat covered stand for spectators at their Gaywood Park home.

According to Monday's St Albans Review, Kings Langley Parish Council's planning committee are set to discuss the club's proposal on Tuesday night after they were submitted by Kings Langley chairman Dermot Edgar in January.
