New FA chief heading to cup tie!

By David Watters

New Football Association chairman Greg Clarke is heading to Egham Town on Saturday to watch the EVO-STIK League Southern's Sarnies in Emirates FA Cup action!

Appointed this summer as the successor to former FA chairman Greg Dyke, Clarke, pictured, will be at The Runnymede Stadium in Berkshire to see Gary Meakin's side host National League South outfit St Albans in the competition's fourth and final qualifying round.

Married with four children and a former CEO of technology giants Cable & Wireless Communications, Clarke is already proving to be a big fan of Non-League.

After spending his first day in the job on Friday 2 September meeting staff at Wembley, he was a VIP guest of South Park a few hours later to see the Surrey club beat Ryman South rivals Dorking Wanderers 2-1 in the Emirates FA Cup first qualifying round.
