Lee Spalding, manager of Evo-Stik League South West club Swindon Supermarine, has announced the signing of Bakare Aliu from league rivals Shortwood United.
The 6`2” Hartbury College student, who is studying physical education, is currently on placement at a school in Bath.
He is a former youth team player with Tranmere Rovers before joining Everton at the age of 15 and he played alongside England international and current Chelsea star, Ross Barkley.
Aliu starred for Shortwood in their win against `Marine back in December, playing at right-back, but regards himself more as a midfielder.
Aliu was on the bench as `Marine lost 1-0 to league leaders Taunton Town on Saturday.
