Defender signs from Cinderford Town

Wayne Thorne's thoughts

Wayne Thorney manager delightened with signing of Josh Nelmes from Cinderford Town

He will bring the aggression I have been looking for in my defenders and he is a leader of men. The character he will show on and off the field will be an example to everyone else at the Football Club. He is a no nonsense defender that will give me and the club 110% effort in everything he does

This signing as well as the others from the past week shows we are not accepting the position we are in and putting our own stamp on the team. The results and performance haven't been acceptable and more signings will follow which means more players will leave this week.

Certain players at the club, in our opinion are not up to Southern League Level and with the signing of ‘Nelmo’ shows the we intend to change things rapidly.

Where next?

Saturday's Evo-Stik South, West Round-Up Taunton Town and Swindon Supermarine both maintained their unbeaten starts to the Evo-Stik League South West campaign, but newly-promoted Bristol Manor Farm had their colours lowered for the first time as a Step 4 club on Saturday.
