The Blues host fifth place Slough Town on Saturday afternoon following Monday's postponed match against Banbury United and Town manager Carl Adams will be keen to give the Town faithful a top performance to bring an end to a run of one win in 5 against a Slough side who are looking to cement a play off spot and are currently 13 points clear of Royston in 6th place.

The Blues are eager to show their fans a response after our last game comprehensive 5-1 home defeat against title chasing Kings Lynn last weekend.

Town manager Adams has a rested squad to pick from thanks to the suspended Monday night fixture, with Edwin Ahenkorah, And Gallinagh and Liam Francis all available for selection.

The visitors enjoyed a super run in the Emirates FA Cup this season reaching the 2nd round proper before losing 4-0 at home to Rochdale in a game that was televised live by BT Sport from their impressive new Arbour park stadium in December.

The Rebels find themselves in fine form going in to the match, having won five of their last six matches and lie 2nd in the current form table with only Kings Lynn having a better record over the last 6 games. So a tough encounter is anticipated but Town know they can match the Rebels after they almost claimed a notable victory at Slough just prior to Christmas when Mike Taylor's goal nearly secured the Blues a win only to be denied by a last gasp Alan Inns equaliser for the Rebels in stoppage time for a 1-1 draw.
