The Taunton Town official represented the EVO-STIK League Southern at the service in Tidworth for the referee and long-serving and respected football administrator, pictured, who passed away in December following a battle with cancer.
Rose and representatives from throughout the game were at the noon service at St Michael's Garrison Church which was followed by the burial at Tidworth Military Cemetery.
Mourners, including representatives from Salibury FC where the late administrator served as club secretary, were asked to send flowers or make a donation to the Wessex Kidney Foundation or the Countess of Brecknock Hospice.
Mr Edmonds, who leaves a wife Sarah, son Jordan and daughter Aimee, was the discipline secretary at Wiltshire FA for a number of years before being appointed as general secretary of the Western League at the start of the 2014-15 season. Before that, he also served on the Nadder Valley Football League for many years and is credited with launching its U18s youth cup competition.
