League names inaugural winners!

Chippenham Town, Farnborough and Hereford have scooped the EVO-STIK League Southern's inaugural Team of the Month accolades.

The trio were named on Thursday as August's winners of the monthly competition to recognise and reward the top performers among the 68 clubs playing in the EVO-STIK League Southern's three divisions.

Sponsored once again by the Southern League's title sponsors EVO-STIK, winning clubs can look forward to being presented with a cut glass trophy recording their achievement and a 4.5l bottle of Bell's Whisky to celebrate their success with at upcoming fixtures by representatives of the league and sponsors.

Bluebirds boss Mark Collier and his table-topping Chippenham Town side will collect the top flight's accolade for their record of five wins and two draws in the opening month of the campaign.

Farnborough led the way in the EVO-STIK League Southern's Division One Central to collect the first award of the season, Spencer Day's side taking 15 points from a possible 18 and scoring 21 goals along the way while also negotiating safe passage through The Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round.

In EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West, Hereford and manager Peter Beadle also made it through their first Emirates FA Cup encounter and romped to six wins from six in the league to top the table and take the division's honour.
