Kidlington FC - Points deduction

By Jason Mills

Further to an Appeal by Kidlington FC following a decision of the League in April to deduct the Club three points, the Appeal Hearing was heard yesterday at the FA.

Kidlington FC had fielded a player in November that should have been suspended following an accumulation of five cautions, a match Kidlington won against Bedford Town. The matter was not highlighted until December and the FA made its decision in February, followed by the League's decision to charge the Club in March and the subsequent decision in April. The result of Kidlington's Appeal was that it was dismissed and therefore the League table for 2016/17 Division One Central will be updated to indicate the three points deduction.
