Evo-Stik League South Premier club St Ives Town have signed highly-rated young goalkeeper Lewis Todd from Evo-Stik League South East strugglers Barton Rovers.
Todd had spells with Berkhampsted, Wealdstone, Dunstable Town, Stevenage and North Greenford United before signing for Rovers.
He made his first-team debut for the Sharpenhoe Road outfit at the age of 17.
Meanwhile, forward Ben Sawyer has gone in the opposite direction on loan to Barton Rovers – on of his former clubs.
Sawyer joined St Ives October from Bedford Town, linking up with former manager Ricky Marheineke having previously played for him at Histon.
He started his career with Cambridge City before moving on the Langford, Soham Town Rangers and Barton Rovers.
The Saints have extended Tom Knowles` loan deal from SkyBet League Two side Cambridge United, so game time for Sawyer was going to be affected for the coming month.
The decision was therefore made for him to sign for Rovers to gain some valuable minutes and be ready to return when needed in March.
