Up to fourth in the fledgling EVO-STIK League Central Division table after Ben Murray's side beat Aylesbury 1-0, last season's Combined Counties League Premier Division champions have just put the finishing touches to a major refurbishment programme they started after winning promotion.
Officials at the Tangerines released a statement before kick-off against the Ducks thanking vice-chairman Nick Bailey for spear-heading the project which concentrated mainly on the clubhouse and patio areas which have been redecorated in the club’s tangerine and white colours.
The facilities for match officials at The Robert Parker Stadium have also doubled in size to ensure the club meets future ground-grading standards.
The Middlesex club said: "Thanks to vice-chairman Nick Bailey, the club now has black leather furniture including two sofas, with a large hand painted copy of the club’s badge dominating the back bar area.
"The outside patio has been given a complete makeover as well with tangerine and white walls and just as importantly, being mindful of the requirements coming in by 31 March 2018, the match officials’ dressing room has been more than doubled in size to ensure that the new regulations will be fully met."
