Tim Harris aiming to get his second league win as Reds boss

Redditch United host Banbury United at The TRICO Stadium on Tuesday, looking to bounce-back from their 1-0 defeat to Dorchester Town last weekend.

Despite The Reds leaving Dorset empty handed, Tim Harris and his side put in a very good performance team enter this Evo-Stik Southern Premier match still in good spirits having only lost once at home since October.

Banbury, who have won three out of their last four, are seventh in the table, just outside the play-off places. Mike Ford’s side ran out 5-0 winners away to Bishops Stortford in their last league game.

Both sides met earlier this season, with Redditch United winning 3-1 at The Banbury Plant Hire Communication Stadium with goals from former players, Dior Angus, Spencer Weir-Daley and Danico Johnson.

Redditch United First Team Manager, Tim Harris, said: “We are looking forward to the game on Tuesday. We put in a very good effort at the weekend and unfortunately, did not get what we deserved.

“We are continuing to work hard and this is a good opportunity to get back on track against a very good Banbury United side.”

Harris has a team with a clean bill of health for the game, after defender Marcel Simpson and forward Myles Phipps, who missed the game at Dorchester, return to the side.
