Four More New Ravens

Evo-Stik Southern League Central club Coalville Town have added four more new players to their squad ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Having already strengthened their squad with the arrival of Scott McManus - Joins from FC Halifax Town, Joe Doyle-Charles from Matlock Town, Luke Shaw and Andrew Wright from Grantham Town and Courtney Wildin from Nantwich Town, the Ravens have now added Lamar Graham, Tim Berridge, Aiden Kirby and Max Smith-Varnam.

Graham is a young midfielder who joins from new league rivals Tamworth.

The youngster joined the Lambs to play in their development side after being with Total Motion Midland League Division One side Hinckley AFC.

Berridge is a talented goalscorer who joins Coalville from Total Motion Midland League Premier Division side Dunkirk.

Kirby is a versatile midfielder or defender previously with Barwell, Holbeach United and Grantham,

Kirby is also an actor and model!

Smith-Varnam is a goalkeeper who joined Barwell two years ago following his release from Leicester City, where he featured for the under-18 and under-23 sides.

He was number two keeper for the Yellows before joining Gresley FC in October 2017 on loan, having also had a similar stint with United Counties Leaguers Harrowby United.

Leaving Owen Street so far this summer are Lee Torr, due to work commitments, Brad Munn, who has joined Northern Premier East neighbours Loughborough Dynamo as player-coach, Kyle Dixon, who has joined Midland League Premier Division newcomers Ilkeston Town, Jermain Hollis, who has switched to Hednesford Town and, most recently, Nathan Watson, who was transferred to Northern Premier Leaguers Basford United for a record fee earlier this week.
