Alvechurch acquire duo

Alvechurch have signed Danny O`Callaghan and re-signed defender Kyle Morrison.

O’Callaghan joins `Church from Sutton Coldfield Town. He is an energetic, and attack-minded midfielder who can play the ‘number 10’ role well in behind the main striker.

He progressed through the ranks into the first-team at Sutton Coldfield and played his part in the Royals winning promotion via the play-offs to the NPL Premier Division in 2015 before signing with AFC Telford that summer.

He returned to Sutton Coldfield at the end of August 2015. He was a fans` favourite at Sutton Coldfield and went on to captain the side during the 2016/17 season before a serious injury sustained in January 2017 ended his season prematurely.

He switched to Stourbridge in the summer of 2017 before re-joining the Royals only three months later.

Morrison joined Hednesford Town at the start of the 2015/16 season from `Church and quickly became a key member of the defence.

A junior at Midlands clubs, Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Morrison has also played for Halesowen Town.
