Winger Jimmy Hartley has joined Evo-Stik League South East club Bedford Town from league rivals Barton Rovers.
The former Luton Town and Stevenage academy player had spells with Colney Heath, London Colney and AFC Dunstable before joining another Spartan South Midlands League side in Harpenden Town.
Hartley was then picked up by Swedish third division side Ytterhogdal and helped them to third place in the league by their mid-season break before returning to Harpenden.
Spells with Ware and Berkhamsted and a first stint at Barton Rovers, where he helped the club reach the play-off final, followed before the exciting wide man joined St Ives Town.
He had impressed Saints manager Ricky Marheineke on a number of occasions when he saw him during the previous season.
Hartley had a spell with Hitchin Town before re-joining Barton Rovers earlier this season.
He was available for selection at Beaconsfield Town on Saturday before the game was postponed late due to floodlight failure.
